Just watched Putin's whole speech today, let me say what a stark contrast between Russia's leadership and the US leadership(ROFL):
– in one hand, a senile leader running away from very public domestic issues: East Palestine ecological disaster and a public accusation of an act of wat without congress oversights or consent.
– on the other hand, a coherent, clever, and visionary leader with an articulate plan to face an existential threat looming over his country.
I won't pretend to be a clairvoyant but whatever the collective west has planned, their bluff has been publicly called out by Russia, and I say Russia, I mean the whole country, not just Putin.
Bare WWIII, I don't see how the collective west gonna get back a shred of political capital and trust from the rest of the world, aka The Jungle(or The Barbarians as pointed out publicly by a Ukrainian official in Munich this month).
You know a page is turned when Putin, the alleged godfathers of all Russian oligarchs around the world, made publicly fun of the same oligarchy who hid it's ill-gotten wealth in the collective west coffers and got it frozen by their Western "friends".
