I don't believe they will remove the portal. It's an easy access point for government to alert Twitter. The question is how far will Twitter go to not be corrupted by the use of the portal.

I decided to re download Twitter after a decade of not using it. And I was just checking out the "spaces" feature last night was was very surprised to have Elon just pop in and answer everyone's questions for hours and I was surprised to hear your voice chime in too. I really think Twitter is taking off with all of these changes.
