Yes, the US has more people in prison than China. But then, the death penalty is used far more in China. I'm not trying to justify how many people are in prison in the US. There IS no justification for that. The US system is "slaves over graves."

I live in Ottawa. I know what the Trucker Convoy was, and it most certainly WAS NOT a peaceful protest. Women were harassed and chased down the streets while being threatened with sexualized violence for wearing a mask (trying to tone down the profanities to stop my comment from being deleted). My friend's daughter who is a nurse was threatened and harassed as she went into her hospital to keep the patients in her ICU alive. A cancer patient had his chemo delayed because the road blockades FROM THE TRUCKERS didn't allow the medical deliver truck to get to the hospital. This was an occupation. It took direction from the Jan 6th insurrection. Almost everyone in Ottawa hates them, and we see a lot of protests. Here's what Bob Rae said about them: "A truck is not a speech. A horn is not a voice. An occupation is not a protest. A blockade is not freedom, it blocks the liberty of all. A demand to overthrow a government is not a dialogue. The expression of hatred is not a difference of opinion. A lie is not the truth." Bob Rae

If papers like the WaPo, NYT, WSJ etc truly held up the mirror to the Govt or if the Opposition Politicians in US and Canada had any independent streak of critical thinking/objectivity that wasn't slavishly devoted to furthering the Deep-State agenda they could have mounted a united challenge. But even that hope is dashed.

The aired story truly an example of politicians co-opting virtue, and imagery of the American Dream? Gag! As a cynic, other than clogging his artery, or some special introspective potion enlightening Biden of hegemon crimes – kind of need to acknowledge this (damage control engineered) feel good moment, was truly a culmination of hypocrisy. and irony – MSM never questioning the global policeman's virtue..
