It could b subterfuge by the ukrainians to say all these things only to be opposite.
Zelensky doesn't care about Ukrainian people, he never has. Even when he knew Russia would invade in February, with dozens of warnings and military build ups he still told Ukrainians to stay put. People died and suffered because of his lack of care for the people he is supposed to protect.

Nobody seems to believe that the Russian ‘slowness’ is by design to bring out the Ukrainians and economically on the EU and eventually the USA. Rather than fighting in the opening quickly, Russia has very incrementally demilitarised and denazified the Ukrainians. Russia will only do a huge big open attack when Russia feel that EU and USA are being ‘weakened’. If only Ukraine is weakened the west can always look for another proxy. There are a lot of idiots around like Poland, Lithuania, Finland, etc. The only way is to weaken the EU and USA also and therefore grinding and drawing EU and USA into a pool of blood. It’s a damn good strategic move. This way, just like USA is using Ukraine as a proxy, Russia is also using Ukraine as a proxy against the west.

4) They're going together to bring turkey and flowers to Zeleny for Christmas.
