I’m Ukrainian and these guests are talking incompetent bs. Putin is KGB, which means he does not respect “soft” position of his opponents. All this chat does not make any sense if you were interviewing insiders from Ukraine or Russia. Just fyi, Ukrainian military runs on Belorussian fuel refined from the Russian oil. Also, none of Ukrainian gas/oil pipelines carrying Russia fossil have been bombed by Russia. Zelensky’s “right hand” Ermak actually runs the country, even though he and his team are corruption leaders. However, recently US DOS started successful fight with Ukrainian corruption via Ukrainian entities reporting directly to DOS. Thus, all these recent anticorruption activities in Ukraine were initiated not by Zelensky’s administration. but rather by US DOS.
Our president and his son were both laundering money in Ukraine. His son ran companies that kicked back money to him and Joe. And people are shocked that 2 years into his presidency he found a way to send the same country 100 billion dollars? And they have been laundering that as soon as they got it. You’re undermining the effect of letting a country invade another sovereign country. How many wars will there be if you let Russia get away with invading Ukraine? Depending on how the war goes here, this will likely affect the conflict in Taiwan and who knows how many more conflicts. So just laying out the cost of the aid being x dollars and saying that it’s too much is a misleading argument. Russia has to be held accountable and to know there’s severe consequences for their actions. Russias military buildup involves 100.000 troops today with twice that number on short order.
But first it must address long standing allies concerns about Russias actions ,gaslighting. Causing people to doubt their sanity through psychological manipulation isn’t something new to Putin .Russia will do anything to justify / instigate a provocation or incident,and then try to use it to justify military intervention . Failure for peaceful talks is going to have catastrophic consequences.
