Being that 'canberra' is the nations Capital, and apparently a separate territory known as the 'Australian Capital Territory', Does the 'ACT' have its OWN Parliament, or is it 'run' wholly by the National Federal Parliament?
Can one Parliament hold both positions?
And when was the 'ACT' ceded from the State of New South Wales. I have hit a block, i cant find anything about that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
