  1. Id like to comment on the issue of Ukrainian/Russian/Soviet names. Prompted by Alexanders mention that maybe the Russian officials continuing to use Soviet names is somehow connected to Soviet sympathies. That is completely off the mark and requires clarification. Actually while the Donetsk and Lugansk oblast were partially under control od DPR/LPR and partially Ukraine, Ukraine had been "decommunizing" names in the area, changing them. Naturally DPR/LPR and naturally Russia do not recognize the authority of Ukraine to administer these territories, therefore all names of places Russia uses are as they were on the date of declaration of independence by DPR/LPR, Ukrainian renamings nonwithstanding. Soviet sympathies/antipathies have absolutely nothing to do with it, its a matter of legal affirmation of authority/sovereignity or lack thereof. I hope Alexander could mntion this in the next program as I feel otherwise a rather misleading impression may have been created by todays comment.

  2. In regards to the Hersch revelations and inferences of disillusioned palace intrigue, “the rats are leaving the sinking ship!”Captain Biden and his Gilligan’s Island crew are the convenient scapegoats offered up by the true and hidden masters of the imperial Anglo American Zionist cabal. In the new psychopathic version of the Wizards of Oz, we will be exhorted to “pay no attention to the men behind the curtain!”

  3. Good Day! This is Alex. I've found I can earn over 200 USD every single day by making multiple simple YouTube videos pandering to my pro-Russian/anti-West audience. It needs constant reassurance that things are going well for Russia and my channel is here to provide that. The keys to my success are to find a few themes and talk about them over and over again. Bad news and critiques of Russia are to be avoided or minimized most of the time, but sometimes I'll mention setbacks but also discredit the sources or use the lowest possible loss estimates. This creates an illusion of impartiality while still not leaving too bad a taste for my sensitive audience. For variety, sometimes I will feature special guests who basically do the same thing I am doing and we can validate each other, giving our community a sense of breadth and diversity. I approach this with a genuine enthusiasm and passion because I genuinely appreciate the revenue this channel is generating for myself and family and I'm here every day to give it my all. Cheers.

  4. A remark on the value of high ground from a military historian. In modern war one of the key advantages the high ground offers is actually not of visual, but of actual cover from direct dire. Who controls the high ground can place stuff (reserves, supplies, artillery, HQs etc) on the reverse slope of the hill and the decensive positions just below the ridge, also on the opposite side if the hill. Then the enemy who wishes to advance is unable to fire directly into those positions from anywhere except on top of the ridge, where, as you can imagine, the attacker is extremely exposed and isolated from friendly fire support. That makes hills excellent defensive positions. The lower topography, however, offers no such cover and the enemy is able to fire at an angle into trenches, dugouts etc and also the near rear of the front is extremely vulnerable to fire from the hill. Imagine a tank, for example, appearing from the back slope for merely a few seconds, taking a shot and then disappearing back behind the hilltop only to reappear a few minutes later at a different location. The defensive advantage high groind gives is enormous and depressions are killing groinds where its extremely tough if not impossible to find cover.

  5. THEY ARE SENDING THEIR OWN GEAR IN ORDER TO USE THEM LATER ON THEMSELVES, BY PULLING IN ALL THE NATO TROOPS SURROUNDING ALL OF UKRAINE ALMOST, YES THE US AND UK ARE TRYING TO START A WW3, AND THE PLAN IS PROBABLY TO INVADE UKRAINE AND TRY TO DO A KNOCK OUT BLOW TO RUSSIAN FORCES, AND IOT MAY INVOLVE THE NEW GRAVITY BOMB THEY SHOWED THE WORLD FOR A WHILE THERE. AGAIN, THE TANKS ARE NOT MAINLY FOR THE uKRO TROOPS, IT'S FOR THE NATO TROOPS THAT ARE ALREADY THERE. IT WILL HAPPEN DURING THEIR NEXT PHASE. OR THE EXAKT SAME BOMB THAT WERE USED IN BEIRUT SOME YEARS AGO, YES THEY LIED TO YOU, IT WASN'T A FIREWORK ROCKET OR SOME NITRATES GOING OFF, THAT WAS THE COVER STORY, THE TRUE STORY IS: IT WAS A MESSAGE TO RUSSIA AND IRAN AND CHINE WHAT IS AWAITING THEM PROBABLY, AS THERE WASN'T ANY RADIATION TO SPEAK OFF IN BEIRUT, THAT WAS THE SOLE REASON WHY THEY USED IT THERE AND AS A WARNING/MESSAGE WHAT IS BEING PLANNED. THIS IS ME THEORY.

  6. ive seen these channels, these guys are just capitalising on the popularity of the videos not trying to appropriate the content….. and they dont have your name on the channels, but you get the odd clueless person in the comments praising you though XD

Ive also seen the spambot scambot pretending to be you on your own comments section….. im assuming everyone is intelligent enough to avoid or to know and differentiate the real mercouris etc

  7. off on a woo woo tangent, anybody know about a pyramid in ukraine…. came across someone recently that said ukraine had a pyramid….. and im obviously linking it to this war fight for ukraine…. not the bosnian pyramid…..

makes sense to me… if the yanks started war in iraq for stuff oil being one of them…. anyway if noone knows then carry on lol i never said anything so crazy and off the wall XD

  8. The Norwegian Intelligence Service (E-service), which is Norway's foreign intelligence service, writes in its recent security assessment that the Russian military has gotten stuck in Ukraine.

The e-service further writes that the war will continue to weaken Russia's military capability through 2023, and points out that poor management, inadequate equipment and heavy losses on the battlefield contribute to weakened morale among the forces and weakened conventional capability.

The e-service writes in the intelligence report that weakened Russian conventional capability increases the importance of nuclear weapons: "With weakened conventional capability, the importance of nuclear weapons for Russia has increased significantly. The Russian strategic and regional deterrent forces have thus become increasingly important for the Russian military power," reads the intelligence report.

  9. NOT A GOOD DAY: "Retired army colonel-general Leonid Ivashov last year called for Vladimir Putin to resign, saying he had been pursuing a 'criminal' policy in 'provoking' an 'artificial' conflict in Ukraine. He has now said Putin is leading Russia to defeat and humiliation in the war…….Mark Milley says Russia has LOST the war: Chairman of US Joint Chiefs claims Putin has been defeated 'strategically, operationally and tactically' and is now a 'global pariah' .

  10. Life in Fascist Russia. And before you sad sheep think this is "propaganda" because it's a BBC report, it happens to be factual:
University student Olesya Krivtsova has been missing a lot of classes. That's because 20-year-old Olesya is under house arrest. She has an electronic tag on her leg. Police can monitor her every move. Her alleged crime? Olesya was arrested for anti-war posts on social media. One of them concerned last October's explosion on the bridge linking Russia to annexed Crimea. "I posted an Instagram story about the bridge," Olesya tells the BBC, "reflecting on how Ukrainians were happy with what had happened." She had also shared a friend's post about the war.

Then the drama began. "I was talking on the phone to my mother," Olesya recalls, "when I heard the front door opening. Lots of police came in. They took away my phone and shouted at me to lie on the floor." Olesya was charged with justifying terrorism and discrediting the Russian armed forces. She faces up to 10 years in prison. Olesya is only allowed to leave home to attend court

"I never imagined anyone could get such a long prison sentence for posting something on the internet," Olesya says. "I'd seen reports of crazy verdicts in Russia, but I hadn't paid much attention and continued to speak out." A student of the Northern Federal University in Arkhangelsk, Olesya has now been added to Russia's official list of terrorists and extremists. "When I realised I'd been put on the same list as school shooters and the Islamic State group I thought it was crazy," recalls Olesya. Under the rules of her house arrest she's banned from talking on the phone and going online. Olesya has a striking image tattooed on her right leg – Russian President Vladimir Putin depicted as a spider, with an Orwellian inscription: "Big Brother is watching you." It appears that in Olesya's case, it wasn't Big Brother watching her, but her fellow students. "A friend showed me a post about me in a chat," Olesya says, "about how I was against the 'special military operation'. Most of the people in this chat were history students. They were discussing whether to denounce me to the authorities." The BBC has seen extracts from the group chat. In one comment, Olesya is accused of writing "provocative posts of a defeatist and extremist character. This is out of place for war-time. It must be nipped in the bud". "First let's try to discredit her. If she doesn't get it, let the security services deal with it." "Denunciation is the duty of a patriot," someone else writes.

Later, when the list of prosecution witnesses was read out in court, Olesya recognised the names from the student chat.

It's one year since the Kremlin launched its "special military operation" in Ukraine – the term it uses for Russia's full-scale invasion of its neighbour. Within weeks of the assault, President Putin was calling on the Russian public to separate "true patriots from scum and traitors". Since then, across Russia there have been reports of Soviet-style denunciations against critics of the war. They include students informing on teachers and workers denouncing colleagues.

  11. The war is so even in terms of combatants and military equipment, weapons etc it's going to take years to resolve, looking at the territory that's occupied, Ukraine definitely pushed Russia right back to what the Donetsk and Lugansk territories were before the invasion, well done Ukraine!🇺🇦
