I honestly think that he will eventually let Alex back on the platform. Now it would only backfire because his critics would use this as a means to attack him even more. So it's actually a smart move not to bring back the most vilified person in US history back on Twitter right away.
The difference between 2016 and 2020 is the Communists won. And a Communist dictatorship can't have people questioning the results of the election that got them into power. As Joseph Stalin said in a shockingly honest moment of candor. "I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this—who will count the votes, and how." He should know, because they all do the same thing no matter what country they take over.
I've always found that the off button on my phone works really well.
Free speech is like free press. The liberty is only half the equation. What good is a free press if they are nothing more than propaganda mouth pieces for the DNC? What good is free speech if people are using it to spread racist lies? Liberties are only as good as the population's willingness to practice it responsibly.
