I was informed in a history lesson that the census in Germany in early 1900s was freely completed and yet only about 20 years later was used to identify undesirables by the Nazi party who came to power . If it’s is fact, need I say more… how the data is used depends on who is in power. Identify all the disabled just as an example, say for equality and fair adjustments purposes in one regime, but in another regime use the data to annihalate or limit a whole section of society. We lack imagination as to just how these tools ‘could’ be used for good or for evil AND whose good and whose evil is probably decided by those in powerful positions, not by morals or ethics or common sense? We have seen too much of ‘authority’ does not equal morality or ethics or integrity. Caution is needed.
Question 10: This will enable them to treat those protected people favourably above other people not on that list! It will also create division. It will encourage people to obtain special status of being on that list. We may be barred from certain buildings or areas, we may be barred from events or allow certain behaviours! It could be used in a negative way also for people on that list by the companies allowed this data!
Just work out what they want you to say and choose the polar opposite!

I agree we should all complete the consultation document questionnaire. It opens the door to full digital ID. Despite our best efforts it will still become legislation. Reminds me of the consultation paper the government put out in 2021 stating that vaccines were the best hope for eradicating COVID-19. The legislation that followed gave immunity to the pharmaceutical industry for harm caused by the vaccines. still have old paper licence, don't have a passport, don't have a mobile phone, pay cash at the post office for car tax, council tax, water bill, pay cash for shopping etc.Tried to stop the nhs data sharing bs. Dictators in the past could only dream of control like this, now they have the tech to control everything! Resist the "convenience" they are pushing, do not comply.
