And now in this age, the communists have virtually total control of western media. Why do humans repeat the same mistakes, I have thought on this and have come to the conclusion, that is to do with the collective memory of a population, eg, those that lived through WW1 are all gone, same with WW2, so the memory of those times and their horrors has long since passed through the collective memory of the population. With no memory to relate to for a given situation, a person is unsure which is the correct path of action, this is why most people just go along with the herd.
Thankfully, there are people out there who have memories of such situations. I have a couple of Hungarian customers who escaped the Communist takeover of Hungary, they are elderly now, but are aware that this nation, along with all western nations are being slowly being transformed into communist nations, they would tell me at times over the past 2 years, 'this is what the communists did', 'this how they do it' and all that, I had to concur every time.
