Australia's trade surplus with China is $65+Billion and with the US currently a deficit of $16Billion,and will increase to a deficit of at least $200Billion with the US after purchasing submarines for the benefit of the US.
My question to the Australian government is how will you pay for the submarines when you lose the income from exports to China?
Only solution will be raise more tax from your people or issue more government bonds (government debt) which will increase interest rates and further fuel inflation. That's the price for being a US lap dog. Look at the price Germany has to pay.
